Jo’s Kitchen is a blog about simple home cooking that fits into a busy lifestyle. Jo is not a chef or a photographer, and  has nicknamed herself ‘the ‘hungry blogger’ as food is not usually around long enough for a good photo.  Jo lives in Halesowen in the West Midlands.


Comida y Vida is “Food and Life” from a English gal with a love for all things Spanish. Louise found the love of good food and wine during her time living in Spain, and now back in Staffordshire she loves nothing more than recreating some Spanish favourites or searching out some local food producers and restaurants.


Jules, the main author of the Butcher, Baker, runs a business teaching children all about food & cookery. She is a self-confessed geek plus lover of all things cake shaped and vintage.


A Wannabe Foodie is a blog written by a permanently harrassed mum of 3 young boys .. who is a data summariser by day and a wannabe foodie by night ! Creating real food for the very real people in my life ! Trying new things and usually being overtaken by cake , cake and more cake ……. !  A Wannabe Foodie is all about Food , life , love and laughter ……… come on in … the waters fine !

No Love Sincerer is the continuing story of an amateur cook and foodie with a tiny kitchen and a hungry fiancé, trying to balance full-time work, long-term illness and trying to provide nutritious meals! An eclectic mix of cookery tips, restaurant reviews, product reviews and general musings on cookery and life.

Vanessa Kimbell is a time short foodie and author of the blog www.prepped.co.uk . First cookbook ‘Prepped‘  released in May 2011. Food Journalist and BBC Radio Northampton Presenter for the Kitchen Garden Show and Mum to 3 young Children!


My wife and I took on an allotment in January and decided to set up We Grow Our Own to record our trials and tribulations, and also hopefully our successes! I’m a self-taught cook and passionate about growing good food and eating good food either at home or wherever else I can find it. I am completely happy when in the kitchen, cooking for myself, my wife, family or a crowd.

Andys Kitchen is the blog of Andy Hunting, I am an ex chef who is now enjoying blogging about food and drink related items, that include recipes,reviews and lots more. I have an allotment so enjoy growing as much produce as possible, and last year I purchased a classic VW Campervan, so Im looking forward to creating many culinary camping recipes,  and blogging about our camping trips.

Girl Interrupted Eating is a recipe blog from Nottingham. Becky cooks with seasonal wild ingredients foraged from the city and the country.


The Ordinary Cook loves to cook, when she isn’t cooking or baking then she is probably thinking about cooking and baking. She uses her little corner of the internet to share her recipes and love of food. She cooks good food for her family and friends and tries to use seasonal and local produce in her cooking as much as possible in beautiful Shropshire.

Leicestershire resident Phil Young ‘rambles on’ about his interest in home produced food products on his Local Food Heroes blog. With an emphasis on curing and charcuterie, his ethos is based on applying modern scientific learning to traditional recipes and in using local seasonal ingredients. Whether it’s bacon, bread, butter or buns, he’ll have a go at making it!

I’m a Hong Kong expat / baking fanatic living in the UK, I blog about cooking for the family, traditional Chinese food, crafts and my usual musings.

Is it worth Waiting for? are a couple from Nottingham who have developed a love for cooking and are now attempting a social experiment; to not cook the same meal twice for a year. We are using this year to expand our knowledge of ingredients and recipes, and document the results on the blog on a daily basis.

Rising To The Berry is about my quest to bake and review each recipe from Mary Berry’s Baking Bible, there are over 250 recipes to complete. In my spare time I am a full time wife and mother!
